Valdez, NM (a view from the Rim Road) Yes, this really happened -- I didn't fantasize this painting in any way. A friend invited me to dinner - while they were preparing our supper, I went outside with my camera. The sky was blue and quiet - within minutes the wind came up, storm clouds appeared and it began to rain on Taos Mountain - the sun shone into the storm and the rainbow appeared.....Just seconds and it was all gone.....forever.
